Palm oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the fruits of oil palm. It is one of the most ancient food products known since the Ancient Egypt era.

It is extracted by the physical pressing of the fruits. Then the crude oil is washed and refined. Palm oil can be separated by the fractionation method into palm olein (liquid fraction) and palm stearin (solid fraction).

Palm oil is the leader of the world vegetable oil market. It is used to produce food, biochemistry products, and biological fuel. It is highly valued for its availability, perfect physical and chemical properties. It is resistant to oxidation that prolongs its storage period.

Palm oil is high in vitamins E and A.
