Sunflower meal is a by-product of oil extraction. Extracting oil from sunflower seeds with organic solvents produces a mass rich in proteins, amino acids, and minerals.

The meal can be supplied powdered, in pellets or in pressed plates. Additional heat treatment is used to produce toasted meal.

Sunflower meal is used for feeding farm animals. It can be used as a separate feed or as one of the mixed feed ingredients.

Thanks to the high protein content and the balanced aminoacid structure sunflower meal is perfectly digested, improves metabolic processes, strengthens immunity and improves the quality of the products of the animal industry (meat, milk, eggs). It is a source of potassium, phosphorus, B vitamins.
